Sports Board
The University has conducted 9 inter-university-zonal
competitions and 3 inter-zonal competitions.
The achievements in the sports field of the
University in the year 2003-04 are as under:

In the All India Inter-University Atheltics
Tournament which was organised by Ranchi University, Jamshedpur
from 27.01.04 to 31.01.04. Shamsher Singh of the University has
made a new inter-university record in long jump with distance 7.58
m.

In the tournament Devendra won bronze medal. He
also represented India in the Handicapped Olympic Games.

In the West Zone Inter-University Kabaddi Mens
Tournament held at Gujarat University Ahmedabad from 21.11.03 to
25.11.03, the University has won bronze medal and qualified for
inter-zonal tournament, where they stood second.

In the West-Zone Inter-University Table Tennis
Womens Tournament held at Jiwaji University Gwalior, from
15.12.03 to 19.12.03 the Univeristy has won the bronze medal.

The MDS University Employees Cricket Team won the
silver medal in the Late Kalpana Chawla Memorial Vice Chancellor
Cricket Tournament.
